DOLLY PARTON'S IMAGINATION LIBRARY
The Kiwanis Club of Chincoteague is proud to partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to inspire a lifelong love of reading. By sponsoring local children, we help provide high-quality, age-appropriate books delivered directly to their homes every month at no cost to the families. We invite all eligible families to join this wonderful program and set the stage for their child's future success.
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Kiwanis Club of Chincoteague is dedicated to empowering the youth of our island community. We offer comprehensive scholarship opportunities specifically for Chincoteague High School seniors pursuing their next chapter, whether at a traditional four-year university, community college, or a specialized trade school. Our mission is to provide the support you need to turn your aspirations into reality.
RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE
The Kiwanis Club of Chincoteague sponsors and supports a quarterly Red Cross blood drive to help save lives and serve neighbors in need. We are proud to facilitate this vital community service on our island.
We invite all healthy community members to watch for upcoming dates and consider donating. Your gift of blood can save up to three lives.
ADOPT-A-ROAD PROGRAM
The Kiwanis Club of Chincoteague proudly participates in the Chincoteague Adopt-A-Road program. Our members regularly come together to clean designated stretches of roadway, helping keep our island beautiful, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
Watch for our cleanup days and consider joining us to lend a hand in caring for our community.
CHRISTMAS PARADE HOT DOGS
The Kiwanis Club of Chincoteague serves free hot dogs and hot chocolate at the end of the annual Chincoteague Christmas Parade to thank the community and bring families together. This heartwarming tradition is our way of celebrating the holiday spirit and showing our gratitude to the wonderful people of our island.
